When will I be ready for my practical driving test?
My answer to this question is that when you can drive consistently well without making mistakes. I do use mock test to assess this requirement.

Congratulations - Now you have passed your driving test.
Once you have passed the driving test, it is advisable to enhance your skills so you can then, if you wish complete a six module course called Pass-Plus. The modules are:
- Motorway Driving
- All Weather Driving
- Rural Driving
- Town Driving
- Dual Carriageway
On successful completion of the courses which is usually 6 hours at a set price, you can do it in one day or 2 three hour sessions.
You can get a grant from the Highland community planning partnership (HCPP). To get the grant you must:
- Live in the Highland
- Have passed your driving test within the last 12 months
- Apply to the HVPP before starting the course
Refresher Course
Regardless of your age - If you've been away from driving or if you just want to get more experience (ie refresh your parking skills or roundabouts) then take a refresher course so you'll be safe on the road for yourself and others. |
